I was craving banh xèo & ended up here with the entire family Com thịt nướng/grilled pork rice 2 meat is too dry BBH 3 . My husband said San Jose is much better. Sister likes it Banh canh 3 . My dad left some behind. Guess it wasn't good enough Banh xèo 4 due to the amount of veggies I got. I also got the combination combo. Banh beo is too thick. Nem chua is delicious . Banh khot is definitely the queen of this plate. The rest is just ok! I also got bo kho to go. 2 . Definitely will come back for banh khot & banh xèo & will try fried shrimp cake next time ( a lot of people ordered it! Enough of the good . Service & ambience is a typical hard core Vietnamese place . Crowded & noisy . We are used to it so 3 . If you choose food over ambience then this is the place

I only come here for the yummy crispy sizzling crepes. The service is not that great here, but the price and amount of food you get is awesome so I don't mind.

Van's best crepes has been recognized as Orange county's best called Banh Xeo. If I am not mistaken it's been in business for over 30 years I also love the traditional Vietnamese banana leaves wrapped goodies. Always crowded no reservations excepted so please be there 10-9pm, so many items on the menu. I love banh Xeo, bun rieu, bun cha Hanoi, com ca kho, too many to list.

Solid Bánh xèo and Bánh Tôm Cổ Ngư. Very quick and efficient service. Basic table arrangements which serves the customer only purpose: good palate and filled stomachs

This is place is solid for Vietnamese food in a pinch. I don't think they make the best of any dish, but for the price, it's great! We ordered the Banh Hoi with pork and shrimp, the banh xeo with pork, and egg rolls. We paid less than $30 for the entire meal for two. One simple thing I think this place could do better is to just spin their greens down to get rid of the excess water from the washings. The greens come out water logged just dripping with water. I get this is done to shock the greens and get them crispy, but it does get so wet that it dilutes the fish sauce you dip it in as you wrap the lettuce with the egg rolls and banh xeo, etc. Will we be back? Yes, if we want solid, affordable Vietnamese food. If you are looking for the best of anything, I wouldn't necessarily come here.

Review for visit on 07/20/2023. This place has always been my family's go to for banh xeo. We have been coming here for over 20+ years now. On this day, we ordered three banh xeo with shrimp and pork. It came with two plates of veggies. Everything was delicious per usual. We arrived before the lunch rush so finding a table wasn't too bad. The restaurant got busy during lunch. I don't remember if it was loud or not I was too focus on my food and good company. Customer service wasn't bad. We received service when needed. **side note - 08/12/2023 I went to Van's this past weekend and we ordered two banh xeo with shrimp and pork. That gets you one plate of veggies. We asked for more veggies and was charged $2 for the extra plate.

Honestly the only place I get a banh xeo because they make it the best. Not only is it affordable, but the portion size is huge. I've been coming here since I was a kid and nothing much has changed besides the size of my appetite. My favorite part about their banh xeo is their crispy outer shell and the amount of protein they stuff inside. Definitely a spot that can't be beat! Parking is plentiful here and the staff is always friendly. They bring out the food so quick too, so it's steamy every time it arrives. They also have other dishes that are yummy, but the banh xeo is always my go-to!
